Lois Anvidalfarei produces sculptures of archaic figures in bronze, solitary or in groups, sometimes contained by metal bars. With their massive bodies and strong psychological presence, the sculptures assert themselves in space and force us into dialogue. Anvidalfarei speaks of the constant stimulus that induces him to create figures, body and soul, in bronze and plaster sculptures or in drawings. The land and the desert landscape represent his source of inspiration: here he produces works that encompass emotional, existential and religious experiences through matter.
